Playing against a top-10 team on the road Villanova (1-5, 0-3 CAA) was beaten by No. 6 New Hampshire (4-1, 2-0 CAA), 47-17, at Cowell Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The strong offense of the host Wildcats put up at least 10 points in all four quarters along the way to the lopsided victory. Freshman running back Kevin Monangai (Roseland, N.J.) provided one of the highlights for the visiting Wildcats, scoring his first career touchdown on a seven-yard run in the fourth quarter.
