South Dakota defeated defending GWC champion Southern Utah, 24-19, in a Top 25 matchup on Saturday. In non-conference action, Cal Poly got a 44-25 win over Central Oklahoma, North Dakota beat Montana Western, 42-9, and UC Davis fell to Humboldt State, 23-17.
