College Sporting News has named University of Northern Iowa senior linebacker L.J. Fort its FCS National Defensive Player of the Year. CSN also selected UNI senior defensive tackle Ben Boothby for its Fabulous Fifty FCS All-America Team, adding a sixth All-American honor to Boothby's resume.
