Senior slotback Deonte Williams rushed for 188 yards on 20 carries and scored three touchdowns as Cal Poly, playing its first Big Sky Conference football game, defeated UC Davis 28-20 before a sellout crowd of 11,075 in the Battle for the Golden Horseshoe on Saturday night in Alex G. Spanos Stadium.
