It’s Year 3 of Jeff Monken’s reign as head football coach at Georgia Southern.
And each season under Monken, the Eagles have advanced to the Football Championship Subdivision playoffs. Monken hopes that experience provides an edge when fifth-seeded Southern plays host to Southland Conference champion Central Arkansas on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Paulson Stadium.
