The University of South Dakota’s 2010 football season certainly had its highs - a victory at the University of Minnesota comes to mind - but, by and large it was a disappointing campaign for the Coyotes of Coach Ed Meierkort.
USD finished with a 4-7 overall record and was just 1-3 in the Great West Conference. One of the toughest schedules in school history contributed to the uncharacteristic mark, but a sub-.500 record isn’t something the folks around here are accustomed to.
