You have to think that the seeds are going to be (no order) NDSU, SHSU, Georgia Southern, UNI and ... Appalachian State or Wofford? Or Montana (they beat the higher ranked team). Being benevolent, the committee may just give it to Montana because it is close and it spreads out the AQs a bit more than having two for the SoCon and two for the Missouri Valley. Methinks they will surprise us completely.
North Dakota won against South Dakota to get their share of the Great West Conference title. San Diego won against Jacksonville to get their share of the Pioneer Football League title. Alabama A&M won so it goes to the SWAC Champ Game as the East representative. The West is Grambling's to lose next week. If they win they go to the Champ Game. If they lose to Southern then UAPB wins the West and faces AAMU for the title. Harvard beat Yale in The Game but that point is moot.
FINAL AQ ----- Albany Georgia Southern Lehigh Montana Norfolk State North Dakota State Sam Houston State Stony Brook Tennessee Tech Towson Probable At-Large ----- Appalachian State Central Arkansas Illinois State Indiana State/James Madison* Maine Montana State New Hampshire Northern Iowa Old Dominion Wofford *(If the committee takes only 7 D-I win teams then this will be James Madison)
With Youngstown and Indiana State losing you have to think Central Arkansas is in.

We should have a real good idea by 6-7 p.m. EDT of the whole picture. If the higher ranked team wins in each of these games today then the field should be (given AQs already clinched, seeds not in any order): AQ ----- SEED- Montana State SEED- Georgia Southern SEED- North Dakota State SEED- Sam Houston State Albany Lehigh Norfolk State Stony Brook Tennessee Tech Towson At-Large ----- SEED- Northern Iowa Appalachian State Indiana State Maine Old Dominion Youngstown State Wofford and probably even if they lose to the higher ranked opponent today: Illinois State Montana New Hampshire Or maybe an 8-3 Central Arkansas or Portland State. Certainly that is a lot of ifs and as we know from prior seasons, the way it finishes will change all of this speculation. After the polls are released we will see what the final regular season GPI indicated.
To help on the NEC front, the conference office has this to add: Should the Danes lose to Sacred Heart in Week 12, they may still be postseason-bound. UAlbany can also attain the playoff bid if… Duquesne loses to Robert Morris AND either Bryant loses to Central Connecticut or Wagner loses to Monmouth.
After today's games the picture becomes much clearer ... Mid-Eastern -Norfolk State has the AQ Patriot -Lehigh has the AQ Southern -Georgia Southern has the AQ Southland -Sam Houston State has the AQ Big Sky -Montana State or Montana (play this next week) Big South -Liberty or Stony Brook (play this next week) Colonial -Towson* Missouri Valley -North Dakota State* Northeast -Albany* Ohio Valley -Undecided *= Pretty much decided

That's a wrap, plenty of close games and a few upsets!
I'll be updating this as the day and night goes on.
Someone mentioned to me that the seats are not orange in the Georgia dome (like I said over and over), they are red. I guess I'll adjust my eyes. They also told me they were red like the color for the University of Georgia football team. I did not know they even had a football team. Maybe they will progress enough to play Division I championship football one day. Good luck.
no good, ODU runs out the clock GAME OVER Old Dominion wins it 40-17 over Georgia State Thanks for joining me (don't be so quiet next time)
GSU going for it on 4th at their own 26 1:04 left
59 yd Plisko punt, 1:39 4Q GSU at their own 20
Did I mention the Georgia Dome has nice orange seats?
Might mention that not only isn't Schlecter at GSU QB, he wasn't punting either
