And we're underway in Statesboro. I'll be following all the games of the day here, updating as we go.
Big day as the playoffs start and the SWAC Championship matchup is decided in the Bayou Classic so I am following the scores. The winners of each of the four playoff games advance to the next round and if Grambling wins then they are in the SWAC Champ Game. Times are Eastern.

Obviously a crucial week with all big games in the GPI top 25. I'm not expecting the FBS games to have a large impact on playoff selection since the GPI doesn't indicate seeding, bracket placement or game locations, it is all about the at-large. I would think all the at-larges will come from the current GPI top 25.
This week has four games between top 25 teams, two top 25 teams have already finished their season and three top 25 teams play FBS teams. Rankings based on the Gridiron

We have the 10 conferences and 10 Autobids but what about the other four conferences that don't have an AQ?
Yes, they all don't have an AQ for various reasons... the Great West only has five teams and doesn't qualify, the Ivy League doesn't apply for one or even let their teams participate in the playoffs, the SWAC has a champ game and other scheduling conflicts, and the PFL has applied but didn't get approved yet... so here are their conference champion races detailed for the record.
