Big day as the playoffs start and the SWAC Championship matchup is decided in the Bayou Classic so I am following the scores. The winners of each of the four playoff games advance to the next round and if Grambling wins then they are in the SWAC Champ Game. Times are Eastern.

Obviously a crucial week with all big games in the GPI top 25. I'm not expecting the FBS games to have a large impact on playoff selection since the GPI doesn't indicate seeding, bracket placement or game locations, it is all about the at-large. I would think all the at-larges will come from the current GPI top 25.
This week has four games between top 25 teams, two top 25 teams have already finished their season and three top 25 teams play FBS teams. Rankings based on the Gridiron

We have the 10 conferences and 10 Autobids but what about the other four conferences that don't have an AQ?
Yes, they all don't have an AQ for various reasons... the Great West only has five teams and doesn't qualify, the Ivy League doesn't apply for one or even let their teams participate in the playoffs, the SWAC has a champ game and other scheduling conflicts, and the PFL has applied but didn't get approved yet... so here are their conference champion races detailed for the record.
With six of the ten automatic qualifying bids to the Division I football championships finalized (the Mid-Eastern, Patriot, Southern and Southland have been clinched and the Big Sky and Big South have winner take all games this weekend as detailed in part 1) there are still the remaining four to examine. In three of the cases it comes down to two teams, and then there is the OVC.
The AQ goes to Towson if they win this week or if they and Maine lose. If Towson loses
A few years ago I hosted an Internet radio show for CSN called "I-AA Waves." On it I created a feature called "8 Conferences, 8 Autobids" in which a guest and I would talk about the chances of teams getting a league's AQ each week. The guest would make the prediction since I don't really go for that kind of stuff.
Now it is "10 Conferences, 10 Autobids" but I'll switch it around and give what the conferences say with a little gleaned from the CSN staff
