I am at home watching these two games. NDSU @ MSU is to start at 2:07 Eastern time and SEMO @ EWU will start at 4:05 Eastern. The Bison are coming off a first round win at home against Robert Morris 43-17 and the the other three teams had first round byes. Actually, SEMO had a bye to end their season so they had two weeks to prepare for their first ever playoff game in Cheney. Montana State and North Dakota State are not new to meeting each other in the playoffs. MSU beat NDSU ...
FARGO, ND--I am in Fargo for the first ever NDSU playoff game in the Fargodome. Robert Morris comes into this contest as the first ever Northeast Conference champion to make the FCS postseason. The Colonials enter this game with a 8-2 overall mark. NDSU enters this as the third place team from the Missouri Valley and with a 7-4 mark overall. Both teams enter this contest with a loss (RMU to Bryant and NDSU to Missouri State). Both teams are making their first FCS playoff appearances. ...

FARGO, N.D.--I am in Fargodome for the Dakota Marker battler between the Jackrabbits and the Bison. NDSU has lost the last three matchups between these two teams. NDSU sits at 6-3 and would need to win this game and the next one at Missouri State to assure themselves of an at-large berth to the playoffs. SDSU sits at 4-5 this season and basically need to win out to get a winning season but are out of the playoff consideration after gaining a spot last year. This is the 97th meeting ...
DES MOINES, IA--I spent the day in Des Moines today with my two sons. What beautiful weather for the midwest this Halloween eve--mid 60s for the game. I watched the Bulldogs win this matchup after taking the lead just before the half at 14-10. Michael Piatkowski threw two touchdowns and ran for another as Drake defeated San Diego 38-17. Piatkowski had scoring throws of 6 and 14 yards - both to Steve Platek - and added a 3-yard TD run for the Bulldogs (6-3, 5-1 ...
