The NDSU defense seems relentless. Bell gets pressured but gets the pass off to Flanders on a short pass but losses two yards.
NDSU gets the pun at their own 29. This is a position where NDSU has dominated their playoff opponents and will look to use their great ground game to run this clock out.
Bell does not seem like he can throw the ball very well. He over threw his first down pass and his second down pass is tipped incomplete.
With the way the NDSU defense has performed, it looks like the Bison will be tough to score on.
SHSU returns just to their own 26, Keith Blanton on the return.
Jensen sneaks it in from a yard for the touchdown. PAT is good.
NDSU leads 17-6 with 8:45 left.
It will be tough for the Bearkats with the way they run offensively.
Flanders loses two on the next play for a 2nd & 12 from the 47 of NDSU.
Sincere gets nothing, actually loses a yard, on second down as the NDSU defense swarmed to the ball to stop him in his tracks.
Third and 13. LB Travis Beck picks Bell off and nearly scores on the return. First and 10 at the half yard line. 63 yard return by Beck.
Not sure what Bell saw here. It looks like Beck was the intended receiver.
The play is being video replayed to see if he scored but appeared to me as if he was down inside the one yard line like the officials spotted.
Flanders gets it out to the 30--just a gain of 1 (actually started at the 29 on this drive).
Huge 3rd down again. Williams with a huge gain on this play to the NDSU 45.
SHSU has not gotten much going on offense in the second half and will try to change that on this drive.
Bell flips out of bounds while out of the pocket for an incomplete.
NDSU has it at 3rd & 5 at the 33 after two, five yard gains.
Jensen appears as if he was looking for the shovel pass but keeps it for just a two yard gain to the 35.
SHSU fair catches the punt at their own 28. We have 11:34 left in the game.
SHSU will need to come up big on defense here. NDSU helps them out with a false start to begin the drive. 1st & 15 now from the 23.
SHSU has an incomplete from Bell and then a loss of a yard from Flanders. 3rd & 11 is a huge play here from the 23.
Flanders catches it but is short of the first down. 4th and 7 from the 27.
The SHSU punt sends the Bison back to their own 28.
Sincere with another 3rd down with just a yard on 2nd down from Sincere.

That is the end of the third quarter.
One quarter left and NDSU found the only offense with the fake punt and the McNorton pass catch.
We shall see what happens in the fourth quarter. NDSU has owned this quarter in the past postseason games.
Sincere in the wild kat gets just two to the 12 on first down.
Two incompete passes from Jensen has NDSU. The last to Smith is being reviewed and I couldn't see anything to overturn it and the Video Replay agrees.

The punt is returned to the 33 but there is a block in the back foul on the Bearkats to send them back to the SHSU 10.
With 2:53 left in the 3rd qtr, we are still at NDSU 10 SHSU 6. Another huge possession here.
Smith catches the punt at the NDSU 45 with a fair catch call. Given the circumstances, that was a great punt from SHSU's Matt Foster.
The long pass from Bell goes too long and SHSU will be forced to punt at their own 6.
Flanders gets four to the 6 to set up a 3rd & 5.
You can hear the Bison crowd and it causes a SHSU false start. Half yard penalty. Bell just keeps it up the middle for a yard to set up a 2nd & 9
We have 4:30 left in the third quarter. SHSU so far has not done what they normally do in the third quarter. We will see if they can dig themselves out of the hole at their own 1 now.
The third down pass looks like it should have been pass inference but goes uncalled.
The Bison punt sends the Bearkats back to the 1 yard line as NDSU downs it there.
Like I mentioned, special teams will be huge. So far, I would say NDSU has won this battle.
