Two runs by Johnson has UNI out to their own 36.
Lough get the run on 3rd down and gains just a yard so it is a 27 yard FG attempt that goes wide right. It remains 13-9 UNI with 4:45 left in the 3rd.
Cheesebourough has two runs to set up a 3rd & 4 from the UNI 10.
Fouch hits Justin Hilton on the first play and has the Sycamores down to the UNI 16.
UNI gains just a yard in the first two downs and is faced with a 3rd & 9. Rennie is tackled in the backfield so the Panthers go 3 & out. Bernard's punt is returned back to the ISU 36. We have 7:19 left in the 3rd qtr.
ISU has George Cheeseborough in for Bell. ISU goes three and out. A nice punt by Lucas Hileman sends UNI back to their own 29 with a fair catch. We have 9:32 left in the 3rd.
Bell is still out for the Sycamores so it looks like he might be done for this game.

We will have to wait to see if Shakir Bell will come back in the second half after the big helmet to helmet hit he took. He looked quite woozy as he left the field. Brock Lough, however, has looked good in his place. Bell ran for 145 yards at the half time break. Rennie has 41 and Johnson has 26 yards for UNI. It looks like it should be a good second half after a closely contested opening half reguardless who plays. UNI will get the ball to open the second half.
UNI takes a knee to end the 1st half. We have Northern Iowa 10 Indiana State 9 as we go to the break.
Fouchs passes to Justin Hilton but Cory Little misses the PAT so UNI retains the lead, now at 10-9. We have 30 seconds left in the half.
It was actually :54 left. ISU takes over at the UNI 11. The first play gains them five to the UNI 6 by a Lough run.
ISU comes up a few inches short on the 4th down play. UNI takes over at the 10 with 1:05 left in the half. UNI's Rennie fumbles the first play and ISU recovers. We have 0:46 left in the half.
Not Little, Brock Lough has replaced Bell. He is stoped for a 1 yard loss on third. ISU takes a timeout to figure out if they will go for it or kick the FG. We have 1:09 left in the half.
