Kinda lost some of the Chuckles in the picks this week!

I predict a whale of a game next Friday or Saturday at Delaware, no matter which triple option team they play. They haven't faced one all season, and it will be interesting. Guaranteed.

Final: Delaware 16, New Hampshire 3. 13 penalites for 112 yards - 10 of them on New Hampshire. Point to that as to a big reason why the Wildcats got stopped in the quarterfinals.... YET again.

So Delaware will be tuning into ESPN3 to see who they face off against: Georgia Southern or Wofford in the semifinals. The last time they played the Eagles - in 2000 - they lost. The last time they played Wofford - in 2003 - they won on the way to the FCS national championship. My bet is Keeler is rooting for Ayers & company.

It will give them something to do as the final seconds count down for the Hens.

I think the folks in the frigid Delaware press box ought to look up the stats for the most penalized quarterfinal game of all time, because this might break the record. Another false start on Delaware.

Devlin really is crisp passing the ball. 27 for 38, 2 TDs, 0 INTs. 261 yards. Efficient - and it wasn't even his best day passing.

CB Anthony Walters picked off Toman's desperation heave - his third in two weeks, as he had two vs. Lehigh.

Looks like Delaware is now deeply in control.

4th and 3 at the Delaware 23 or so. The Wildcats need to make this to keep things alive... and a flag flies. False start - wow, what a momentum killer.

For the NFL, it's all about physical tools. Few NFL scouts these days look seriously at 6' QBs - to their detriment, I feel.

Blow to the head to Toman by #49 on Delaware. An idiotic penalty that breathes life into the Wildcats.

Toman is a wounded warrior out there. He's clearly not 100% and there's a tiny detectable limp as he joins the huddle.

If you like downing punts inside the 1, this is your kind of game. This time, it's Delaware's turn to do it.

Can UNH score a TD here and make the end of this game interesting? The Blue Hens had a golden opportunity to take this game by the scruff of the neck, and they couldn't do it.

I agree, admin, about the read progression. I was a big skeptic about Devlin before I saw him in person versus Lehigh. He indeed is a special QB. I've never seen a more effecient passer at this level, too.

WR Tommy Crosby caught the ball short of the sticks - then made a gutty effort to get the first and move the chains. Great play - showed his strength getting that first down.

You can see New Hampshire needing to take more risks and getting worn down by Delaware. A pass interference on Evans extends Delaware's drive once again.

The read progression is one of the things that separates Devlin from most FCS QBs in my opinion. That and Devlin's touch, which is the best I've seen in years at this level.

WR Mark Schenauer must have been the last read for Devlin as he ran through a ton of reads - but found him with a rifle in the end zone for a 9 yard TD. Right down the middle with a beautiful throw. XP is good. Delaware 16, New Hampshire 3, and it feels like a lot more than a two score lead. 13:03 left.

A holding call negates a nice gain to end the 3rd quarter. Will Delaware's kicking game kill the Hens in the fourth quarter... or be a non factor?
