Speaking of the Southland

An avid observer of the Southland Conference, Plotkin has covered the conference for College Sporting News since 2007.

In addition to his involvement with CSN, Plotkin maintains a vote in the Sports Network FCS Top 25 poll while also voting annually for the Walter Payton, Buck Buchanan and Eddie Robinson Awards.

    Texas State has signed head coach Brad Wright to a three-year contract extension, one that will allow him to serve as the head of the Bobcat football program through the end of the 2012 season.

    For some in the San Marcos community, this dragged out a lot longer than many would anticipate.
