    VILLANOVA, Pa. — For everyone who wondered what Villanova might have looked like without Matt Szczur in the lineup, they got a glimpse early during the Wildcats' Saturday night home game against Penn.

    Szczur, who has been suffering with a tender ankle since training camp, ran back the opening kickoff for 15 yards and ran for a one-yard loss on the second play from scrimmage before exiting to the training table at Villanova Stadium.

  2. Just what you would expect

    SAN LUIS OBISPO, Ca. — One of my favorite aspect of covering the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision are rivalry games. And one of the best non-conference showdowns in FCS from year to year is the matchup between Cal Poly and Montana.

    In a couple of years, this showdown will become a Big Sky Conference game, a fact that will likely boost the rivalry further.
