  3. Two More Spring Games Over the Weekend

    Well, I attended two more spring games over the weekend with my two boys---in Vermillion for the University of South Dakota game on Friday night and then in Fargo for the North Dakota State game Saturday afternoon. Here are a few photos from the games.

  4. Paladins Honor the Past at Spring Game

    Furman’s current head coach, Bobby Lamb, dipped into the history of the school’s football program to add a nice touch to the routine by asking former head coaches Art Baker and Dick Sheridan to lead the teams in the spring game on April 17.

  5. Just got my first fix for football in Des Moines

    Well, my two sons and I went to the Drake spring game tonight. It was good to see some live action and the weather was about as good as it could be in mid-April in the middle of America in Iowa--kickoff at around 65 degrees without acloud in the sky.

    Here are some photos from the game, along with some of my sons. All enjoyed and my younger son has become a Drake fan--wanting the shirt he was wearing after a trip to the Drake Book store before the game.
