Friday was the last day in that position for David Coulson who now joins Matt Dougherty and Tony Moss in that category. Coulson came to the SNW right before the Conference media days in July of 2007.

Just when you thought most of the discussion this off-season would strictly circulate around new coaches, recruiting and the Southland Conference efforts to land the Division I title game, UTSA completely veered the off-season chatter in a new direction.

According to correspondence with the Southland Conference office, the Frisco and Chattanooga bid groups will make their final pitch on Feb. 25 in Indianapolis to the Division I Football Championship Committee.
That committee will then turn around and make a recommendation to the Division I Championships Cabinet. A final decision is expected in early March.
As this issue is clearly one that will carry a great deal of SLC interest over the weeks and potentially, months
