  1. Live Blog: Lehigh @ Holy Cross, 11/6/2010

I'm here at Worcester, Mass to see Lehigh take on Holy Cross in a key Patriot League battle. Lehigh completely controls their own destiny in the Patriot League title race - a wn here would go a very lon way in securing at least a share of the Patriot League championship - their first since 2006. But defending champions Holy Cross won'g give it up without a fight - and a win here for them would put them in the driver's seat for the championship.

It's a brisk 45 degree up here in Worcester, ...

  2. Central Connecticut State @ Robert Morris

MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — When it was announced that the Northeast Conference would receive its first automatic bid to the NCAA Division I Football Championship in 2010, few people probably expected that the pivotal game in the NEC title race would occur here on the Robert Morris University campus.

  3. San Diego @ Drake

DES MOINES, IA--I spent the day in Des Moines today with my two sons. What beautiful weather for the midwest this Halloween eve--mid 60s for the game. I watched the Bulldogs win this matchup after taking the lead just before the half at 14-10.

Michael Piatkowski threw two touchdowns and ran for another as Drake defeated San Diego 38-17.

Piatkowski had scoring throws of 6 and 14 yards - both to Steve Platek - and added a 3-yard TD run for the Bulldogs (6-3, 5-1 ...

  4. Two For The Price Of One (Richmond @ Villanova, Brown @ Penn)

PHILADELPHIA —There may not be many people in this pro-centric sports town who consider themselves true college football fans. But those that are have certainly enjoyed themselves in the past couple of years.

For all of the magic moments that teams like Penn and Villanova have experienced in rich pasts, college football has never been better in Philly than it is right now.

Villanova (5-2 overall, 3-1 in the Colonial Athletic Association) is the defending NCAA Division ...

  5. Illinois State @ Northern Iowa

CEDAR FALLS, IA--I am in Cedar Falls today to see Northern Iowa host Illinois State on the Panthers' homecoming game. It is dark and dreary outside and rained a little this morning here in town. Illinois State is coming off a win against North Dakota State last week and UNI came home with a road victory at the Great West's South Dakota.

Turnovers have hurt the Panthers in weeks path so I think if they can hold onto the ball that they will have win today but it should be a closely ...
