I received an email alert today of this Internet posting at "DifferenceBetween.net", which generally delineated the differences between the FCS and the FBS. Of course I went to the site (which is well done) and examined the article. In it I found many vague and often incomplete descriptions so I partially rewrote the article, attempting to keep the original intact and only inserting/replacing some things. There’s been news around the Southern Conference involving quarterbacks, not all of it good. Miguel Starks, one of three quarterbacks who made an impression calling signals last fall for The Citadel, has been charged in a robbery in Charleston that allegedly occurred over the weekend. Starks generated 327 yards of total offense and five touchdowns in the Bulldogs’ 38-28 upset of Furman in 2009.
