FRISCO, Texas--I am in the press box at Toyota Stadium and will be blogging throughout the game.
Towson (13-2) comes into the game as the #7 seed in the playoff field but defeated the #2 Eastern Illinois and #3 Eastern Washington both on the road to get to this game. Those two wins combined with a home win over Fordham to open their playoff run.

Well, I made it to Frisco yesterday--a little later (about 4 hours later) than planned with a flight through Chicago's O'Hare airport where they received around 12 inches of snow in some parts of the Chicagoland area. But I did get to Frisco in time to see the Great Texas Barbecue Bowl where both teams had players/coaches bowl, shoot darts, and ride a mechanical bull, as well as to eat some great food at Frisco's Main Event (a sporting restaurant with video games and a bowling alley).
FARGO, N.D.--After a little break in my coverage, I am back this Saturday in Fargo to see the top two teams in the GPI battle in this Missouri Valley Football Conference matchup.
Both teams have had a win over a BCS Big 12 team and both are ranked in the top of the ranks defensively.
This is the Trees Bowl at the Fargodome--the annual game that is sponsered by the ND Forestry Service.
Both teams are also coming off of impressive wins last week.
Well, I am doing a tour of football in going to three games in three days. I will be traveling to three states in three days. I will be covering the following games starting with a game today.
Thurs., Aug. 29 Hampton @ Western Illinois
Fri, Aug. 30 North Dakota State @ Kansas State
Sat. Aug. 31 Arkansas-Pine Bluff @ Arkansas State
This should be fun with a number of miles on the road. I will be blogging from each game.
What a great
Frisco, TX--I have arrived in the pressbox at FC Dallas Stadium. It is a cloudy day right now but the sun is supposed to come out by kickoff if the weather forecast is correct. It is 44 degrees right now with a high supposedly to be at 54 this afternoon.
This rematch as I stated before this is the same two schools to play as last year in this game but both have several differences that should in my opinion make this a closer contest that I believe won't be decided until the final
