I went Des Moines last night with my two sons to watch Rob Ash's Montana State team trip to Des Moines, to play his former team in Drake. Ash coached Drake for 18 years before going to Bozeman five years ago. The Bulldogs gave the #4 ranked Bobcats all they could handle and it proved to me that the Pioneer Football League deserves to have its champion play in the FCS 20-team playoff field.
