CSN Classic: A 1970s Look At Delaware Football

Here is a historical look at 1970's Delaware Blue Hen football through the lens of CSN's Mark Campbell

Editor's Note: College Sporting News continues with its new feature called CSN Classic.

In this edition, we take a different look at the Football Championship Subdivision by looking through the youthful lens of CSN and University of Delaware photographer Mark Campbell as he shares some classic photos from the pre-I-AA/FCS era of the Delaware Blue Hens.

Campbell cut his teeth as a young Blue Hen fan, watching and photographing games at Delaware Stadium.

He shares 12 classic photos that give CSN readers a view of Delaware Stadium in the mid-to-late 1970s and give you an up-close look at Tubby Raymond's Delaware Wing-T offense, among other things.

Post in 1979. The Blue Hens won that game 47-19 on the way to a 13-1 season and a 38-21 Division II championship win over Youngstown State.
