As a student, these football programs want them to succeed academically where it will translate the student as scholarly achievers to be leaders in the world.
Not only will the football programs be excited but the players, family, and friends as well. The opportunity to be in front of media press, classmates, friends, and family to decide hat school the student-athlete chooses is a moment of a lifetime; similar to the NFL Draft, that most student athletes will never have an opportunity and honor of receiving.
National Signing Day has become a media extraordinaire event for the athletes being recruited.
For the players, it is their chance to shine in front of the camera for their 15 minutes of fame. They have millions of people, based on all the new technological media outlets, paying attention to them and their decisions.
The extravagant claims over football enlistment has gotten so distinguished that some top prep school stars are holding televised press conferences to announce their decision between nationally prominent football powerhouse NCAA Division I member institutions.
The loyal fan bases follow along with the hundreds of NCAA football programs that include the HBCU programs, as well.
With many of the MEAC, SWAC and Tennessee State of the OVC football program students, fans and alums, asking the question; will this signing class led us to the promised land? The land of a conference championship, a playoff bid, a playoff win, a black college title, and the ultimate NCAA Division I Football Championship!
