Greg Hardin, North Dakota, Wide Receiver, 5-11, 170, Junior, Bellevue, NE
Hardin set a Big Sky single-game record with 333 receiving yards in the 40-34 victory over Montana, catching 12 passes, three for touchdowns. His final catch resulted in the game-winning touchdown with 12 seconds left. The 333 receiving yards eclipsed the previous Big Sky record of 315. The 333 yards ranks fourth all-time in FCS history. Hardin finished the game with 420 all-purpose yards, the second-most ever in Big Sky history, and tied for the 10th most in FCS history. He returned three kickoffs for a total of 87 yards, the longest being 36. Hardin’s 333 receiving yards are the most in any Division I game this season season, as are his 420 all-purpose yards. Hardin’s touchdowns went for 39, 43 and 32 yards. His longest catch went for 81 yards.
Braden Hanson, North Dakota, Quarterback, 6-5, 215, Senior, Charlotte, NC
Hanson threw for a Big Sky and UND record 660 passing yards and five touchdowns in what was the first game of his career that the fifth-year senior started and finished. Remarkably, Hardin was not even Hanson's favorite target in the game as junior wide receiver Blair Townsend caught a career-high 13 passes for 152 yards. His 42 completions were also a school record and those 660 yards were the third most ever by a quarterback in the FCS. Despite being sacked and intercepted three times he finished 42 of 61 passing with the longest completion being 81 yards.
Richard Sincere, Sam Houston State, Wide Receiver, 5-10, 180, Junior, Galveston, TX
Sincere helped lead the Bearkats to a win over McNeese State with 12 carries for 132 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He scored on runs of 44 and 65 yards to go with 23 receiving yards on three catches. He produced 155 all-purpose yards for a Sam Houston State offense that rolled up 348 yards rushing and 541 yards of total offense against a rush defense that entered the game ranked second in the FCS.
Aaron Roane, Richmond, Defensive Back, 6-1, 212, Sophomore, West Point, VA
Roane led a resolved Richmond defensive unit that refused to allow James Madison's offense to find any kind of rhythm in the upstart Spiders' 35-29 upset of the Dukes. The sophomore finished the afternoon with a career-high 14 tackles, seven solo stops and a sack for a loss of four yards, including crunching JMU's Justin Thorpe at the line on a critical fourth-and one. He leads Richmond in tackles with 61 - tied for fourth most in the CAA.
Wesley Skiffington, Stony Brook, Kicker, 6-2, 225, Senior, Brandon, FL
Skiffington finished with 11 points in the 41-10 win against Gardner-Webb on 5-of-5 PATs and 2-of-2 field goals -- both from beyond 40 yards. His career-long 48-yarder opened the game's scoring, and he added a 45-yard field goal late in the second quarter to give Stony Brook a 10-point cushion. Skiffington is the first Big South kicker to make two field goals from at least 45 yards in a game since 2009.
