FARGO, N.D.--I am in Fargodome for the Dakota Marker battler between the Jackrabbits and the Bison. NDSU has lost the last three matchups between these two teams. NDSU sits at 6-3 and would need to win this game and the next one at Missouri State to assure themselves of an at-large berth to the playoffs. SDSU sits at 4-5 this season and basically need to win out to get a winning season but are out of the playoff consideration after gaining a spot last year.

This is the 97th meeting between these two rivals with NDSU having a 51-40-5 overall edge in their prior meetings. SDSU, however, has a 4-2 edge in Dakota Marker games, which began when the two teams moved up to the DI ranks.

It is chilly upper 30s day in Fargo but of course a comfortable 70 indoors.

    SDSU won the toss and will receive.
