EIU took the opening kickoff to the ISU 34 but the drive stalled. The Panthers punted and downed the ball at the ISU 2.

On ISU's first play. A bobbled snap went out of the end zone for a safety. EIU 2 ISU 0 at the 12:01 mark of the 1st qtr.

EIU's next possession resulted in a punt. ISU's drove ot the EIU 38 but had to punt.

The two teams have exchanged punts and EIU last went for it did not back at the ISU 37 yard line. We are currently just 2-0 EIU with 3:57 left in the 1st qtr.

EIU got a FG on their last drive at the 11:12 mark of the 2nd qtr. EIU 5 ISU 0.

ISU was driving but stalled at the EIU 42 and will punt. EIU ball at their own 16 after a fair catch. We are currently at the 9:47 mark.

ISU gets a safety back as EIU quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo lost the ball in the end zone with Harris from ISU getting the tackle for the 2 pointer. EIU 5 ISU 2 with 8:44 left in the 2nd half.

ISU fumbles the next possession so its EIU ball and the Panthers are just starting out with 7:00 to go in the 1st half.

EIU takes the ISU fumble in for the game's first touchdown despite getting called for an unsportsmanlike penalty by the fumbe recover Gordy Kickels.

ISU is driving right before the half. The Redbirds are currently at the EIU 18 but are facing a 3rd and 6.

Lechein Neblett gets a nice 12 yard screen pass to put the Redbirds down to the six.

Ashton Leggett scores on the 2nd and goal play to bring ISU within 12-9 with 45 seconds left in the first half.

Its a third straight incomplete pass for Brown. 4th and goal with kicker Nick Assussier making the 25 yard attempt to tie the game at 12 a piece. We have 9:18 left in the 3rd quarter.

Nice kickoff return by Lorence Ricks from EIU to set the Panther up at their own 35.

THe first play and the center snap in the shotgun went over Garoppolo's head and bounces right into the Redbird safety Ben Erickson's hands and he scrambles into the endzone for an ISU score.
