So far, NDSU has two penalites to one for SHSU. This is shaping up like I thought with the two strong defenses. Those types of fouls will likely be another determining factor for the winner.

Ryan Smith, who is back from injury (hasn't played at all durning the playoffs, with a great catch to the NDSU 36.

He then runs for 10 on an end around.

RB Sam Ojuri gets his first carry and fumbles the ball on a 2nd down play.

SHSU gets nine on their first play on this drive and then Sincere throws incomplete.

Flowers gets next to nothing on the 3rd down play and appears to be hurt. He is walking to the SHSU sideline and looks like he probably will return, which will be key for SHSU.

SHSU will go for it on 4th and an inch at the NDSU 31 without Flanders.


SHSU's Bell is stopped on the qb keeper short of the first down. This is almost like a turnover in scoring range for the Bearkats.

We will see if NDSU can take advantage of the good field area at their own 31.

Wow that was a baad Bearkat call and they got stuffed

Warren Holloway with a big catch on a 2nd down play to get to the Bison 46.

Veldman with great catch and some shotty defensive coverage as he was wide open to get to the Bearkat 25.

Ojuri gets two carries after his fumble on the prior drive and gets just four yards on two plays.

Look for NDSU to pass on this 3rd & 6 from the SHSU 21.

Jensen hangs in the pocket and connects to Smith at the SHSU 7 for the first down. He saw pressure from the corner on the play and hung in their nicely to set up the goal to goal plays.

Huge stop by SHSU for nothing.

I think this was a good decision by Coach Bohl and the Bison as this is going to be a defensive type game.

I would have to say the Bison are not looking that slow and that the Bearkats better make plays.

NDSU is ready to kick it. It was nice angled kick that gets returned to the 20 of SHSU.

That is the end of the opening quarter with NDSU leading 3-0.

SHSU will have it 1st & 10 as we begin the 2nd qtr.

This is a key drive in my opinion for SHSU to get some yardage and not go three and out.

Marcus Williams gets tested on the first play and should have intercepted the long Bell pass. It fell right into his lap.

Flanders is back in there so that is a good sign for the Bearkats. He gets 6 on the first play to set up a 3rd and 4. They are 0 of 3 thus far.

Sincere gets the first down on the Wild Bearkat rush to the SHSU 31.
