2012 FCS Conferences and Teams

• There are 122 FCS teams in 2012.
• No more Great West Football Conference.
• No Independents.
• 111 teams are eligible for the postseason (take out the Ivy League and three APR barred).
• Subtract the two teams that play in the SWAC Championship plus the various Classic games and that leaves 108 -- give or take.
• 20 teams get into the tournament.
• In 2011 only 61 teams finished the year with six or more wins.
