Frisco, TX--I have arrived in the pressbox at FC Dallas Stadium. It is a cloudy day right now but the sun is supposed to come out by kickoff if the weather forecast is correct. It is 44 degrees right now with a high supposedly to be at 54 this afternoon.

This rematch as I stated before this is the same two schools to play as last year in this game but both have several differences that should in my opinion make this a closer contest that I believe won't be decided until the final possession.

One difference today is that SHSU will be wearing their home orange uniforms and NDSU will be wearing their road white uniforms.

The officials today will be an all-star crew from the Big Sky Conference and having been a part of their media days in the past, they should call a fair game as I know that they really work to get their officials up educated on the recent rule updates and such.

The field looks great with a bright green natural grass that has not seen any kind of game action in 2 months.

The press box is a little cramped as I can remember from a year ago. But that really the only complaint I can make for the whole championship experience. Overall, Frisco and the Southland Conference have done a great job for all of us working the game.

Less than fifty minutes to kickoff and I can't wait for this one to start. Like I mentioned before, I think this game will go down to the wire and the winner most likely will not be decided until the final minutes.

As I mentioned in the prediction, I think the Bearkats will get revenge this year but the game will come down to turnovers and who can make a big or unique play.

We shall see in this rematch.

    1st & 10 at the NDSU 37. Okland with a 9 yard catch and gets out of bounds.

    2nd & 1 at the NDSU 46. Jensen scrambles up the middle and gets the one yard to get the Bison first down.

    Time out NDSU with 14 seconds left.

    Darnell Taylor - Southland Conference defensive player of the year is on crutches heading off the field

    1st & 10 at te NDSU 47. Jensen is sacked by Andrew Weaver. NDSU still calls a time out after the 8 yard loss.

    2nd & 18 and Jensen hits Ryan Smith with a long pass to the SHSU 33.

    NDSU calls their last timeout with 2 seconds left.

    Adam Keller in to try a 50 yard FG. SHSU tries to ice him with a timeout.

    The Keller field goal is way short and returned by SHSU. The Bearkats are called for two personal fouls and those will be enforced on the 2nd half kickoff.

    LOL, NDSU will kick off the second half from the SHSU 30-something yard line??? Should be something special

    After a short internet glitch, we are back on line. NDSU intercepted Brian Bell and drove the ball down and scored on a 1 yard Brock Jensen qb sneak.

    SHSU has the ball back and is driving themselves.

    1st & 10 at the NDSU 44. Sincere on a 9 yard run.

    2nd & 1 at the NDSU 35. Flanders is wrapped up in the backfield for a 5 yard loss.

    3rd & 6 at the NDSU 40. Diller makes the catch but comes up short.

    SHSU will go for it on a 4th & 1 form the NDSU 35 and Bell is pressured by Kyle Emanual and throws basically away.

    Huge stop by the Bison defense.

    that Flanders TD run called back on A PENALTY AGAIN really hurt SHSU (SHSU has about 100 yards of runs called back) - Bison defense in on overdrive

    NDSU takes over at their own 35. We have 4:49 left in the 3rd qtr with NDSU leading 17-10.

    This is a huge drive in the game for both teams. This is the first time that one team has had the ball with a lead.

    SHSU really needs to stop the Bison offense here in my opinion.

    1st & 10 at the NDSU 35. Smith on the end around again and hit late out of bounds. He gets 8 on the play and NDSU gets 15 more on the late hit.

    1st & 10 at the SHSU 42. Jensen hits Vraa on a huge 31 yard pass play.

    1st & 10 at the SHSU 11. Ojuri on the sweep to gain 7.

    2nd & 3 at the SHSU 4. Crockett up the middle for two.

    3rd &1 at the SHSU 2. NDSU rushes to the line and SHSU had to use a time out. This is a huge play any way so it might be good for SHSU to use the TO here.

    Sorry, internet glitches again. NDSU will win its second Division I national championship and second in a row.

    The Bison lead 39-13 with just over a minute to go.

    And NDSU runs the last play and SHSU will take over after NDSU missed on a 4th down conversion but there are just 8 seconds left.

    SHSU runs and the Bison are the national champions for the second straight season.
