After a long wait, at last, football is here. I am in Iowa City, Iowa today covering the Eastern Illinois - Iowa game that starts at 11:00am Central time. Hoping for a good game from these Panthers after the Hawkeyes nearly lost to a Pathers team a season ago in the Northern Iowa Panthers.

And today is a double-header day for me with me going to Des Moines after this contest to see one of my games of the week in the Lehigh Mountain Hawks play the Drake Bulldogs in Des Moines, Iowa.

The second game probably will likely be the more competative game of the day for me but we shall see.

Hope all enjoy the first Saturday of football. It is great to see some action on field again!
