All eight Southland Conference teams are in action Saturday. Central Arkansas and Northwestern State meet at 3 p.m. with possible postseason implications on the line. UCA is 6-3 and 5-1 in league play while Northwestern State is 5-3 and 3-1. Sam Houston State visits Southeastern Louisiana Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in its final road test during conference play. The Bearkats are 8-0 overall and 5-0 against the league. The Lions are 2-6 overall and will be aiming for its first Southland win after four losses. Stephen F. Austin heads to Beaumont to face Lamar. The Lumberjacks, who have won the last two conference titles, returned from an open date in mid-October and have won their last two games to improve to 3-5 and 2-2. Lamar (3-5, 1-3) is trying to put an end to its four-game losing streak.
