(San Diego, CA) - The USD Toreros dealt the visiting Marist Red Foxes a 13-7 defeat in a Pioneer Football League game played in a constant rain & muddy conditions at Torero Stadium before 2,018 faithful fans. With the win USD improves to 8-2 on the season and more importantly 6-1 in the PFL standings. Drake completed their league schedule today with a win over Dayton to finish at 7-1. Jacksonville downed Butler to stay in a second place tie with the Toreros. The winner of next Saturday's USD-Jacksonville contest will share the PFL title with the Drake Bulldogs. USD dealt Drake their only league loss back on October 15th.
