(San Diego, CA) - The USD football team (9-2; 7-1 PFL) won their fourth PFL championship, and first since the 2007 season with today's hard-fought 23-14 victory over the visiting Jacksonville Dolphins (7-4; 6-2 PFL) before 2,771 fans at Walter J. Zable Field at Torero Stadium. With the win on senior day the Toreros share the PFL championship with the Drake Bulldogs (9-2; 7-1 PFL). Drake's only league loss came at the hands of San Diego back on October 15th by the score of 31-24.
