Following a 23-20, double-overtime victory by the University of Northern Iowa football team at No. 14 Illinois State on Saturday, two Panthers have been recognized by the Missouri Valley Football Conference as Players of the Week. Senior linebacker L.J. Fort is the league's Defensive Player of the Week, while sophomore kicker Tyler Sievertsen is the Special Teams Player of the Week.
