The Portland State Vikings football team is a consensus number-four selection in preseason polling of the newly-expanded Big Sky Conference. The Vikings, who tied for third in 2011 at 7-4/5-3, were picked to place fourth in 2012 in polls of Big Sky Coaches and Big Sky Media.
