ST. LOUIS - The University of San Diego and Drake University, the defending Pioneer Football League co-champions, were picked to finish first and second, respectively, in the league's preseason coaches' poll, Monday. San Diego received eight of a possible nine first place votes and 79 of 81 possible points as coaches were not allowed to vote for their own team in the poll.
