The Southwestern Athletic Conference had 10 players named to the Sheridan Broadcasting 2009 Black College All-America Football Team announced Friday.

Additionally, the league swept the top individual awards for the 2009 season. Prairie View A&M football coach Henry Frazier III was named Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year. Panthers’ QB K.J. Black was named Doug Williams Offensive Player of the Year. Grambling State DE Christian Anthony was named as the Mel Blount Defensive Player of the Year.
