On Monday Eastern Illinois wide receiver Erik Lora was named National Player of the Week by each the Sports Network and College Sporting News after his 21-catch performance on Saturday that also included throwing the game-winning two-point conversion. In the national polls EKU is now the only OVC team ranked, coming in at No. 19 in both polls.
