The Illinois State football team (8-2, 5-2 MVC) improved its record to 5-0 on the road this season with a 17-10 victory at No. 14 Indiana State Saturday and moved up two spots in The Sports Network FCS Top 25 Poll announced Monday. Illinois State has been ranked in every poll this season and for a total of 17-consecutive weeks, dating back to last season.
