SAN DIEGO, CA - Six Toreros have been named to Phil Steele's 2011 Preseason All-Pioneer Football League Team. Three Toreros, led by senior defensive end Mario Kurn (Encinitas, CA; Santa Fe Christian HS) who was named to Phil Steele's Preseason FCS All-America 2nd Team Defense, were named to the First Team. Kurn, who led the FCS in quarterback sacks in 2010 with 17, was joined on the First Team Defense by senior defensive back Al-Rilwan Adeyemi (Santa Monica, CA). Senior Christian Fetters (Fresno, CA), who anchors the Torero offensive line at center, was named to the First Team Offense.
