Orangeburg, SC – South Carolina State will begin preparing for the 2009 football season Monday, Aug. 1, when players report to the campus for orientation, team seminars and physicals.The Bulldogs, who have won or shared the last three Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference titles and are the 2011 favorites, will conduct their first practice – in shorts and helmets – Tuesday at 3:10 p.m.
