For the second straight season, senior linebacker Tyler Holmes and redshirt senior tight end Emil Igwenagu will serve as co-captains of the UMass football team as announced by head coach Kevin Morris following the first week of preseason practice. Holmes is one of the top returning defensive players in the nation, while Igwenagu is on the country's top tight ends.
