NCAA Division II No. 12 Central Washington will take on Football Championship Series No. 17 Eastern Washington of the Big Sky Conference in “The Showdown on the Sound” tonight at 6:05 p.m. It is the 68th meeting of the two schools on the football field since 1921. This time, renewed rivalry is taking place at Qwest Field in Seattle.

CWU last played EWU in 2006. The Wildcats won 21-14 four years ago.
