Standing on the sideline at Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium Saturday afternoon, a redshirt freshman running back wearing the No. 3 Bucknell University uniform looked puzzled.

He watched the entire game without as much as sniffing a handoff, or a swing pass from freshman quarterback Brandon Wesley. Jeremiah Young stood waiting for an opportunity that never materialized. On the depth chart entering the game, Young was listed as No. 2 behind starter Tyler Smith.

So, why didn’t the former Steel-High standout hit the field during the 31-10 non-conference loss to Penn?
