The Yale football team opened its season with a 37-27 win over Georgetown at the Yale Bowl, Class of 1954 Field Saturday afternoon. Senior quarterback Patrick Witt threw for 280 yards and three touchdowns, while junior receiver Chris Smith had 272 all-purpose yards. Complete details will be available on yalebulldogs.com shortly.
