Lafayette senior defensive back Kyle Simmons put on quite a show in the Leopards' 37-12 win over Penn on Saturday, and after receiving recognition as the Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week he earned praise on national level from the two most significant media outlets covering the Football Championship Subdivision.
