In Frank Tavani's perfect world, a freshman football player at Lafayette would spend his first year getting acclimated to being away from home for the first time, getting accustomed to the college's academic demands and learning what Division I football is all about. Sometimes, however, it doesn't work that way for any number of reasons -- injuries, lack of depth, etc. Sometimes, an athlete is just too good to deny.
